ICU-MateBack to ICU-Mate

Revised 2 October 2026

Clinical Disclaimer

ICU-Mate launches with a pattern-recognition aid for current, non-identifying adult ICU chest-physiotherapy assessments. Learning modules are planned for later releases.

Supported boundary

ICU-Mate addresses the documented adult ICU chest-physiotherapy boundary. It excludes ECMO and other specialist pathways unless a separate contract explicitly includes them.

What ICU-Mate does not do

ICU-Mate does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, provide safety clearance, replace current bedside assessment, or make a longitudinal claim. Referral stability is an entry assumption; the clinician remains responsible for the current stability check.

Clinical responsibility

Apply clinician judgement, supervision, local policy, responsible team decisions, patient-specific restrictions, and established escalation pathways. A displayed compatibility status is not a treatment recommendation.

Reasoning and data limits

Reasoning is limited to explicit current observations. Uncertainty remains visible. Assessment entries and results remain in page memory and are not saved. Brief app switches have a 2-minute grace period; closing, refreshing, signing out or staying away longer starts fresh.
